Nepal, a small beautiful country in South Asia, lies tucked on the southern slope of the Himalayas, between two Asian giants, China and India. Nepal is well known for the birth place of Buddha, world’s highest mountain ‘Mount Everest’ and the homeland of famous Gurkhas. “Gorkha” is the name of the town and the district in Nepal from here these fearless tribes hailed. The British called them Gurkhas when they were inducted into the British Army in 1800s. They became famous as no fighting force has ever earned so much respect for its valour and discipline.
